Statement on Coronavirus

We would like to take this moment of your valuable time to express our commitment to you and the local community in light of the national and worldwide pandemic emergency related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This is a once in a lifetime event as we know if, and we will all get through this together. The Coronavirus outbreak will resolve itself in time. In the meanwhile, please be assured that we are taking even further precautions effective immediately detailed below to assist you in this time of apprehension.

Our staff is fully committed to protect our patients, our staff, and our local community to take every necessary precaution in order to minimize and reduce any unnecessary exposure to you and your family. Universal precautions are the only way to prepare during these challenging times, and we want everyone to know that as medical professionals, we are committed to do whatever it takes to do our part in the community.

The health and safety of our patients, staff, and guests are our number one priority. It is, and has always been, our pledge to maintain the cleanliness in our entire office to the highest standards. This includes the reception area, common hallway, exam rooms, consultation rooms, and ancillary rooms (photograph and relaxation rooms). We maintain regular housekeeping practices including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the works environment. When choosing cleaning products, we use Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)-approved disinfectant labels with claims against viral pathogens. Such products are expected to be effective against Coronavirus based on data for harder to kill viruses. We follow manufacturer’s instructions when using all cleaning and disinfecting products such as concentration, application method, and contact time. We use personal protective equipment such as N-95 respirator masks and gloves and all staff sanitize their hands routinely before and after patient interactions and before and after wearing gloves. We also have hand sanitizers available for patient and guest use in all of our rooms and recommend they sanitize their hands upon entering and leaving our office. As per our standard practice, we will only use disposable one-time-use disinfectant wipes. These will be disposed of after each use.

We have developed policies, procedures, and protocols for staff to follow when they are sick or experiencing symptoms of Corovnavirus. We have trained our staff to monitor themselves for symptoms of Corovanirus and instructed them to stay home if they are sick or have suspected exposure. Additionally, all staff who do not require patient contact are working remotely from home.

We kindly ask everyone who has been sick (for example, cough, cold, non-Coronavirus flu, immunocompromised, etc.), tested positive for Coronavirus, or exposed to someone with Corovanirus to not come to our office for at least two weeks. We also kindly request that patients minimize bringing guests or family members to the office to reduce as much social exposure to everyone as possible.

We are taking additional steps to limit the spread of the respiratory secretions a person who may have Coronavirus and we will provide a facemask, if feasible and available and ask the person to wear it if tolerated.

All pre-paid packages will be extended without loss or penalty for rescheduling a missed appointment. Expiration dates for any treatment(s) purchased will be extended until at least the end of April 2020.

Thank you for your time, patience, and understanding during this difficult time.
